However, as much as we love connecting with customers in person, you may have noticed that we don’t attend many markets over the summer months.

Here’s why:

The Challenge of Heat

Summer heat can be wonderful for many reasons, but it poses a challenge for our products — particularly our wax.

Our candles are made from natural rapeseed and coconut wax, designed to give you a clean, long-lasting burn. However, when temperatures rise, especially in outdoor settings like summer markets, the heat can cause the wax to melt or soften, leading to potential issues such as:

• Softer wax that may not burn evenly
• Wax melting during transport and before the candle has been purchased
• Potential damage to the fragrance due to the heat

For us, it's about ensuring the best experience for our customers. We want every candle to arrive in perfect condition, and we’re committed to delivering the quality you expect from Norshire. Unfortunately, summer heat simply makes that difficult to guarantee when selling outdoors.
