3 Years of Scented Moments: What It’s Really Like Running a Handmade Home Fragrance Business

On May 29th, Norshire Company turns three.

Three years of wax melting, wick trimming, fragrance blending and more cups of tea than we can count.

We started Norshire Company with a simple idea: to create home fragrance products that we loved. Scents that reminded us of moments, places, and comfort. We didn’t follow trends we followed our noses (and our instincts). And three years later, we’re still hand-pouring every candle and carefully curating every wax melt, diffuser, and spray that leaves our little workspace in South Wales.

The Scented Slow Build

Running a handmade business isn't always picture-perfect. It's packaging orders at midnight, restocking during lunch breaks, testing new blends that just won’t behave—and the absolute joy when someone messages to say, “I just lit this and my whole house smells amazing.”

Every scent we’ve created has a story. From the romantic floral notes of Pink Pepper & Rose to the rich, smoky depth of Cigar Lounge, there’s thought (and a lot of sniffing) behind each one.
